Overview
The journey begins with reaching Pangot between 7:00 – 8:00 AM, allowing travellers to enjoy the fresh mountain morning. After early check-in at the hotel or homestay, guests freshen up and enjoy a relaxed breakfast at the property. The morning and afternoon are kept light with leisure time, nature photography, and a short forest walk near the stay. The highlight of the day is a visit to the renowned Kilbury and Pangot Bird Sanctuary, one of the richest birding destinations in India with over 580 species. The evening is spent soaking in breathtaking sunset views from Guano Hills, followed by a warm bonfire with light music. The day wraps up with a cozy dinner at the property and an overnight stay.
Day 2 begins with breakfast at the stay followed by check-out. Travellers then embark on a scenic drive to Mukteshwar lasting approximately 2 to 2.5 hours. The first stop is the spiritually significant Mukteshwar Dham Temple, perched at an altitude of 2,286 meters with stunning Himalayan views. Next is Chauli Ki Jali, a famous rocky cliff formation known for its jaw-dropping views and adventure activities. The afternoon features a gentle 1.2 km forest trek to the beautiful Bhalugaad Waterfall, suitable for all age groups. As evening sets in, travellers can enjoy stargazing under the clear mountain sky, weather permitting. The trip concludes with departure for Delhi between 8:00 – 9:00 PM.
